Voice cloning demos spread on their own across X. The output was spectacular enough to be the content.

Confirmed. The team said it publicly, or the signals leave no room for doubt.

The play

5 steps, in the order they ran them.

  1. 1

Open elevenlabs.io/sound-effects or Voice Design and generate until one clip makes you replay it. That clip is the post. Upload the file natively to X, never a link to it. ElevenLabs' own sample prompt, "An angry old pirate, shouting", works because the output settles the argument before any caption does. Find the one thing your product returns that no screenshot can explain, and ship it raw with the first three seconds carrying the whole surprise.

done whenCan your core output stand alone as one file with no UI around it? If it needs a screen recording of your dashboard to make sense, this play is not available to you yet.

  2. 2

Lock one template and never vary it: the exact input you typed, then the result underneath. ElevenLabs' v3 audio tag posts are the model, a script with [laughs], [whispers] and [sighs] sitting inline in readable plain text, then the player. A stranger can retype it in under a minute. Write the input so it doubles as the caption. No intro line, no "excited to share". Input plus output is the entire post.

done whenTime yourself rebuilding your own post from the caption alone. Past sixty seconds, the template is too heavy for a stranger to copy, and copying is the whole point.

  3. 3

Batch it. One afternoon, write twenty inputs, generate twenty outputs, save them as files in a folder. Post one per weekday, same slot, same template, one only. Keep a running list of inputs that surprised you and refill it every time you touch the product. ElevenLabs refills its own bank at each model release, since v3 shipped a new tag vocabulary that was itself the content for weeks.

done whenCount the finished outputs sitting in your folder right now. Under ten and you will skip a day this week, which is how the rhythm dies.

  4. 4

Treat the replies as the second post. Every "how did you do that" gets the literal input pasted back, tags and all, not a signup link. ElevenLabs answers with a docs page listing [sarcastic], [strong X accent], [starts laughing] for anyone to copy. Then quote-post the best output a stranger made with your template, crediting their handle. With no audience, other people carrying the format is the only distribution you have.

done whenRead your last twenty replies. How many pasted the actual input versus a link to your signup page? The first number is the one that grows the format.

  5. 5

Make the artifact carry the source. ElevenLabs' free plan rule is blunt: publish anything you generated on it and "elevenlabs.io" has to appear in the title. Pick your version, a visible watermark, a default filename, a share card. Then give the clip a place to land that reproduces it in one click, the way a Voice Library card's "Use voice" button drops you into the editor with that voice already loaded.

done whenTake a file someone downloaded from you last month. Does anything on it name you? If not, every reshare is traffic going nowhere.
