How Tweet Hunter got its users
An affiliate program aimed at large X accounts, whose audience wants exactly the growth those accounts already demonstrate.
Confirmed. The team said it publicly, or the signals leave no room for doubt.
You could start this on Monday. No budget, no audience, no permission needed.
- Social proof you could never manufacture yourself
- A creative library for paid advertising
- A product you can demonstrate on screen
- A sourcing and contracting process
- Budget, or a product desirable enough to get it free
Creators and UGC in 2026
The most effective channel in consumer mobile today, and the most saturated at the top end.
Everything on this channel →The play
5 steps, in the order they ran them.
- 1
Recruit X accounts whose own timeline is the proof. A tweet tool's creative and its output are the same object, so the creator does not film a review: they post a thread on how they write, queue and recycle tweets, with a Tweet Hunter analytics or viral-library screenshot inside it, link at the end. Before building any program, list 20 current users who already post their follower numbers in public and offer each a referral link by DM.
done whenCount the users who posted their own results in public this month. Under ten and you have no creator bench yet: recruiting outsiders now just buys reviews nobody believes.
- 2
Hand them a pack, not a brief. tweethunter.io/affiliates closes with "Download the Affiliate Asset Pack here": brand files plus ready copywriting blocks a creator drops straight into a tweet. Signup sits on Rewardful at tweethunter.getrewardful.com/signup, so a link is live in minutes. Build the same one-pager: logo, three hook lines, one screenshot, the link. A creator who has to invent the copy posts nothing.
done whenGive one creator your pack and nothing else. If they come back asking what to say or where the link goes, the pack is not finished and every later recruit will stall the same way.
- 3
Copy the tier ladder on tweethunter.io/affiliates. Newbie, Ruby and Diamond are gated on referral count, and what improves is not the rate, which stays 40%, but two other things: the first touch cookie window stretches 30 to 45 to 60 days, and the free trial the creator can hand their own audience grows to 14 then 21 days. The climb makes the creator look generous to followers. Past 10 referrals they get the Grow plan free.
done whenLook at what your top referrer's reward changes for their audience. If climbing only moves your margin, nobody climbs, and the offer they post stays identical to a stranger's.
- 4
Write the abuse rules before the first payout. The terms on affiliates.tweethunter.io/signup ban paid ads and sponsorships outright, and ban presenting coupons or discounts, real or fake, without consent. Commission matures after 30 days to match the refund window, and payouts hold until $50 is due. Skip those clauses and affiliates bid on your own brand name and stand up fake coupon pages that outrank you.
done whenSearch your own brand name in ads, then check page one for coupon pages you did not make. If either turns up, your terms are missing the clause and you are paying for your own traffic.
- 5
Make the product place the link itself. Tweet Hunter's Auto Plug auto-replies to the creator's own tweet with their link once it passes a like threshold they set, then pins that reply, so the affiliate link rides whatever took off with nothing to remember. TweetPik, its tweet screenshot tool, works outward: every shared screenshot lands on a Tweet Hunter CTA. Find the one public thing your product already outputs and put the link there.
done whenList every public artifact your product outputs: exports, screenshots, shared pages. If not one carries a referral slot, this channel runs purely on people remembering to post.
